Silver Alert Issued After Man Disappeared In DC Last Week

Police are asking for the public's help locating a critically missing 66-year-old man who disappeared in DC, authorities say.

Gilbert Turner, was last seen in the 2100 block of R Street, Southeast, on Thursday, Aug. 11, according to DC police.

Turner is described as a black male with a medium complexion, police said. He is 5-foot-5 and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown eyes with balding salt and pepper hair.

Turner was last seen wearing a blue jersey blue pants, and white shoes. He may be in need of medication.
